My heart is breaking for Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. Their youngest child, a 5 year old little girl has died. Her older brother didn't see her in the driveway, and ran her over with the family car. I can't imagine the pain.

My heart breaks for this family but more so for the brother behind the wheel. I know he is a teenager and I just find it hard to believe that he has the emotional maturity or stability to deal with this. This tragic event will shape his life from here on out. I pray that his family will seek the couseling he will need to overcome the guilt he must be feeling right now.
God be with the all, I pray.
I have been sad and tearful all afternoon, since I heard the news. I remember when he and his wife adopted their daughter and hearing him talk about the joy that she had brought to their family. Words can't express... My sister had friends who lost their 3 year old daughter in the same manner several months ago. I am sad to say, that this in not uncommon. So quickly your little one can be somewhere that they shouldn't. Please remember this situation and ALWAYS look several times before backing out of the driveway. I am definately keeping the Chapman family in my thoughts and prayers. Daiquiri, thanks for posting about it so others will know!
