One of my good friends hosts the occasional W.O.W (within one week) meme. I've always avoided it because I hate to commit to doing something I've been avoiding. I tend to avoid for a reason...primarily because the thing I'm avoiding is a pain in the tush.
The general idea is that we blog about what we want to complete "within one week". We can cheer each other on, check out everyone's progress, and share our progress.
As if this isn't a cool enough idea all on it's own, Becky throws in a prize at the end of the week for one (or two) of the participants.
Alright - so I'm going to try and do this. My thing? I'm drowning in photos. Not D Rose Photography stuff...family snapshot stuff. I try and print pictures on a regular basis and get them in albums. I'm horribly behind. I haven't finished my 2008 album, never mind my 2009 album.
So my plan for this W.O.W.? I guess I have to set a specific goal, huh? I can't just say "I'm going to work on pictures"?
Okay - I'm going to shoot for getting the rest of last year's pics sorted, printed, and put in an album. Oh boy, that's a lot. Wish me luck...
iPhoto will revolutionize your life. Don't waste one more minute. GO forth and partake in the goodness that IS iPHOTO!!

I know how hard it can get when your backed up on scrapbooking (it's 1 1/2 yrs behind for me!). I wish you luck on your scrapbooking project and hope many creative ideas come easily to you! :) Oh, I'm Becky's cousin-in-law by the way.
Oh man, if I had picked that project it would have to be called W.O.Y. (within on year at least!!) I am so behind....but what a great way to get caught up. I can't wait to hear how it goes for you.

Man, reading all these WOW posts just reminds me of how much I have to get done! I too need to get my family pics put into albumns... I am behind 2 years!!! Good luck!! It is always fun to have the family pics in an easy to view format. You won't be sorry!!
Hi I am Becky's cousin. Good luck with your photos...I always just throw them in an album right in no order because then everyone can enjoy them, but I know how it feels to get behind...I feel like afer my daughter turned 1 there aren't as many pictures of her...lol..Good Luck
What a great goal! Our pictures are all packed in our computer and I'm always araid that something will happen to erase all the years of memories! What a great goal! Good luck, you're half way there!
